*Here are a few highlights from the press conference:

Has this year been better than last year?

Andrés Iniesta: The truth is that, since the World Cup, it has been an exceptional season… things have gone pretty well, which is what we work for and what we dream about. On a personal level, I am very happy because I had a girl and I continue to celebrate all of the good things that have happened to me this year.  I hope next year will be just as good as this year.

Is it a burden to play these games?

AI: When you play football, when you play matches as part of the national team, it can’t be a burden, because playing football is what you love to do; even if they’re friendlies, we have to take these games seriously. The U.S. plays football well, they’re fast, and they will demand that we play at our 100%. Everything we do we use to continue to learn and improve.

What has been the best outcome of the American tour so far?

Iker Casillas: We have proven that there is a strong connection/union between all the players.

What are your expectations for the game against Venezuela?

IC: We’re going to be playing a match in a country with strong ties to ours and I think we’ll really enjoy it.  We are going to represent the national team and those who want to see how our team plays.
